摘要: 提出了一种基于增强层运动补偿结构的单环MC+FGS(fine granularity scalability based on motion compensation)结构,以解决原有FGS技术编码效率较低的问题。由于网络流视频中常需要对帧率有不同要求的应用,因此本文在MC+FGS结构的基础上又发展了MC+FGST的方案,克服了原有FGST(temporal FGS)方案编码效率低的缺点,既获得了时域上的精细可分级能力,又提高了编码效率。

Abstract: MPEG4 FGS technology is an effective solution to resolve the network bandwidth varying at the cost of coding efficiency. This paper presents a technology of oneloop MC+FGS structure to improving coding efficiency. Then, by developing two structures of MC+FGS and FGST, we get the MC+FGST structure that acquires both temporal scalability and high coding efficiency.
