空间复用令牌协议错误检测机制的QoS

QoS Failure Detection Mechanism for Spatial  Multiplexing Token Protocols

摘要:

传统无线令牌环协议具有一定的错误检测机制,但没有对其服务质量(QoS)性能进行系统研究和分析. Ripple和改进型无线令牌协议等空间复用令牌协议令牌传递不同步,没有任何错误检测机制. 基于此,提出一种令牌自产生的概念,通过将其与固定令牌持有时间机制相结合,采用计时器队列实现空间复用令牌协议多令牌同步并行传递,在此基础上提出基于邻居监听的错误检测机制,并对算法的QoS指标进行了理论分析和仿真. 仿真结果表明,该机制可及时检测网络错误并进行有效处理,正确检测概率较高,适合在无线空间复用令牌网络中使用.

Abstract:

Traditional wireless token protocols are unavoidable with failure detection mechanism. Token passing protocols for spatial multiplexing such as Ripple and improved wireless token ring protocol could not synchronize their passing tokens, while not any failure detection mechanisms are included too. A concept of token autoregeneration is introduced, cooperated with fixed token holding time mechanism and timer queue, multiple parallel token passing is allowed in token protocols with spatial reuse. Based on that, a failure detection algorithm based on neighbor monitor is provided, analytical and simulation results of quality of service performances of this algorithm indicate that it can detect failures in limited time while the correct detection probability is quite high. This failure detection algorithm is suitable for wireless token protocol with spatial reuse.
