摘要: 利用描述SOA的一个集总模型,对4种基于SOA中FWM效应的波长变换器的输出功率和输出SNR进行了比较。结果表明,对于合理的插入损耗,当这4种结构的输入功率相同、并且产生相同的频移时,泵浦光与信号光偏振方向不同的结构具有最高的输出SNR;在系统允许的相同的最小输出SNR条件下,这种结构具有最大的频率可调范围。

Abstract: A lumped model of SOA is used to compare the output power and SNR of four wavelength converter schemes on FWM in SOA. It is shown that if the schemes have the same input power and produce the same frequency shift, the polarization-diversity scheme has the highest output signal-to-noise ratio, and if the same minimum output signal-to-noise ratio of the system is assumed, this scheme has the greatest frequency tunability.
