光传送网中差错检测码的研究(Ⅱ)

摘要: 推导了突发误码模型下,比特块产生差错的概率、检测出差错块的概率和检测效率的数学表达式,模拟并分析了不同EDC所能检测的最大误码率(饱和误码率)和最低检测效率,得出2×BIP-4差错检测方案可以满足每个串接监视域的性能监视需求的结论。如果不需要实时地测量性能状态,采用8×BIP-1差错检测方案可以提供6dB的饱和误码率。

Abstract: Based on burst error model, the mathematical expressions for the probability of occurrence of a block error and the probability of detecting a block error, as well as the detection efficiency. Analysesand simulations to determine the maximum BER that can be detected (i.e., thesaturation BER) and the minimum detection efficiency are given. Conclusions aredrawn as follows: 2×BIP-4 EDC can satisfy the performance monitoring requirement for each tandem connection. When real-time BER measurement estimation is not required, 8×BIP-1 EDC is acceptable and 6 dB extra saturation BER is provided.
