摘要: 业务量发生器在测量网络性能以及仿真网络新系统的设计与实现中起着很重要的作用。本文提出了一种根据实际网络业务量建模来生成业务量发生器的新方法,它不仅能够真实的按照实际网络中的业务量行为生成合适的业务量,而且易于使用。文中同时描述了业务量发生器的软件实现。

Abstract: Traffic generator plays an important role in measuring the network performance, simulating the performance of new system design and experimenting with alternative design. In this paper, we present a new method torealize the traffic generator based on the real traffic models in the network. The new traffic generator not only generates traffic according to the behavior ofthe real network traffic but also is easy to use. We also describe the implementation of the software of the traffic generator in this paper
