摘要: 探讨了ATM-PON系统在不同优先级业务类型之间的带宽分配方法和在不同ONU之间分配带宽的MAC协议。提出的新型带宽分配算法,可以改进高优先级业务的时延和信元丢失性能。

关键词: 异步转移模式, 无源光纤网, 动态带宽分配

Abstract: ATM-PON(APON) is a kind of economical wide-band access network. As multi-service and multi-user transmission platform, the APON plays an important part in bandwidth allocation among different services and users to improve the bandwidth utilization of the system.The bandwidth allocation schemes among different services in APONs, including the bandwidth allocation schemes among services of the same priority and the bandwidth allocation schemes among different priorities of services are diccussed.The MAC protocols dealt with the bandwidth allocation among different ONUs are discussed as well.
