一种宽带反射型极化旋转器

A Broadband Reflective Polarization Rotator

摘要: 为满足极化旋转器件在通信、雷达以及遥感领域的应用,基于周期性结构的设计方法,采用斜排列的正方形裂环和正方形贴片单元结构,设计了一款覆盖频率为22.5~50 GHz的反射型极化旋转器,该器件的-3 dB相对带宽达到了75.86%. 极化转换效率在24~47.8 GHz内达到了0.8,角度稳定性达到了30°. 测试结果与仿真结果具有较好的吻合度.

Abstract: To promote the application of polarization rotational devices in the fields of communication, radar and remote sensing, a polarization rotator based on periodical structure is designed. This design uses the skewed array consisting of split rectangular ring and rectangular patch, so that a reflective polarization rotator that can cover the frequency range of 22.5~50 GHz is realized. This device provides -3 dB fractional bandwidth up to 75.86%. The polarization conversion ratio reached 0.8 in the range of 24~47.8 GHz over an angular range of 30°. The measured results demonstrate satisfactory agreement with simulation.
