Abstract

Abstract: A novel methodology for constructing accurate source models of MPEG VBR video traffic is described. The experimental results show that this methodology can eliminate the influence of long-range dependence and scatter of bit rate distribution. By analyzing queue performance with the video sequence generated by the proposed model,the effectiveness of the model is also testified.
