An Efficient Wavelet-Wiener Denoising Algorithm

Abstract: A wavelet-Wiener denoising algorithm is proposed by combining the wavelet transform together with the Wiener filtering. Simulation results show that this new algorithm yields better results, both visually and in terms of PSNR(peak signal-to-noise ratio), than the Wiener filtering and wavelet thresholding.
