The Mathematical Model of the Fabry-Perot Filter

Abstract: Applying some knowledge of signal and system to the Fabry-Perot (FP) filter analysis and design, a new method is proposed which eliminates the complex matrix calculation. Furthermore, as being associated with the whole system and characterized by a transfer function, FP cavity filter is easy to be comprehended and to be optimized.
