A CPF-OFDM PDMA Downlink Transmission Scheme

摘要: 典型的图样分割多址接入(PDMA)采用基于循环前缀的正交频分复用(CP-OFDM)技术作为多载波调制方式,因而其容量受限于循环前缀的开销.针对此问题,首先研究了无循环前缀正交频分复用(CPF-OFDM)的无线传输机制,在此基础上,提出了CPF-OFDM PDMA下行传输方法,并给出了发射机和接收机的主要结构.此外,为了评估系统性能,针对不同过载率、信道条件和信噪比等关键参数进行了系统容量和误比特率的仿真.仿真结果表明,在相同过载率下,相比于CP-OFDM PDMA系统,CPF-OFDM PDMA可显著地提升系统容量.

Abstract: A typical pattern division multiple access (PDMA) utilizes the cyclic prefix based orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (CP-OFDM) as the multicarrier modulator,and hence its capacity is reduced owing to cyclic prefix insertion. To address the issue, cyclic prefix free OFDM(CPF-OFDM) wireless transmission technologies is studied. Then a PDMA scheme based on CPF-OFDM is proposed and the main structure for its transceiver is designed. In addition,to evaluate the system performance, the system capacity and bit error rate are evaluated with different key parameters, such as overloading rates, channel conditions and signal-to-noise ratios. Simulation results show that the proposed CPF-OFDM PDMA are harvest a significant gain in terms of capacity compared with a conventional PDMA based on CP-OFDM.
