Abstract: The system management technologies based on simple network management protocol (SNMP), web based enterprise management (WBEM) and web services distributed management (WSDM) are evaluated on the aspect of scalability, compatibility and manageability. The comparison are that the performance of SNMP is better than WBEM and WSDM, but the implement complexity, scalability, compatibility and interoperability of SNMP is poor than WBEM and WSDM.
