Capacity for Orthogonal Space-Time Block Encoding Channel over Rician Fading Environment

Abstract: On the basis of analyzing the received signal-to-noise ratio of orthogonal space-time block codes over Rician fading channel, the average capacity over Rician fading environment for orthogonal space-time block codes is obtained in thispaper. Then the simple but accurate formula for average capacity is further deduced by Porteous's lemma. In comparison to the Monte Carlo and numerical integral, the simulation results show that the approximate value obtained by the formulain this paper is very accurate while it shows much lower complexity.
