Fractionally Spaced Channel Estimation and Equalizationfor
Synchronous DS-CDMA Downlink with Aperiodic Spreading Code

Abstract: In the paper, fractionally spaced channel estimationand equalization algorithms are proposed for a synchronous CDMA system that usesaperiodic spreading code. Algorithms overcome the defects of the former algorithms used for signal sampled with chip rate, and obtain the complete channel response, therefore improve the performance of the equalization. Simulations have demonstrated the performance of proposed algorithm.
