A Novel Space-code Transmit Diversity with Optimal Power Allocation

Abstract: In 3GPP specification space code transmit diversity ( SCTD) is adopted as an openloop transmit diversity for P-CCPCH . In this paper we present a novel SCTD with Optimal Power Allocation to boost the performance of transmit diversity. To evaluate the new scheme in TD-SCDMA system, we provide analytical and simulation results to show the performance improvement.
