The Synchronization Principle and Realization Techniqueof Base Station Subsystem in CDMA

Abstract: By discussing and comparing the principle and realization technology for two synchronous method (master-slave synchronous and pseudo-synchronous) between CDMAdigital PLMN and PSTN, it makes a conclusion that by adopting high quality reference clock from GPS, pseudo-synchronous method can coordinate the two reference clocks of BSS and realize transport synchronization without adding any cost. This method can simplify BSS design.
