The Analysis of Fiber Nonlinear Effects

Abstract: A synthet ical equat ion about o pt ical fiber nonlinear effect s in WDMt ransmission system is propo sed. A supplementary split-step Fourier metho d to so lve the equat ion is proposed too. T he equat io n and the solving method can be used to analyze and compar e among f iber nonlinear effect s, w hile it avails to simulate and analyze performance o f WDM t ransmission system.
