Research on Dynamic Routing and Wavelength Assignment #br# Algorithm in Wavelength Convertible Optical Networks

Abstract: After researching the problem of routing and wavelength assignment in all-optical network, based on the layered-graph model, we propose a dynamic RWA algorithm in the wavelength convertible optical network, which considers the two subproblems of routing selection and wavelength assignment simultaneously. The computer simulation verifies that the algorithm improves thewavelength utilities by virtue of wavelength conversion.
