Abstract: We propose and evaluate a single-bit adaptive step-size closed-loop power control (AS-CLPC) scheme that can be applied in WCDMA system. With respect to the step size of the transmitting power control, the proposed scheme chooses the set of step-size that have the maximum value of the probability density of the multipath Rayleigh channel fading step-size.The number of TPC step size that is applied by the new method is equal to the number of the channel Markov states.A method which shows how to acquire the Markov state is presented.Simulation which decides the relation between the states and the values of the step-size is introduced.
