A Novel ATM Switching Fabric Based on Bifurcated Output Queuing

Abstract: A novel ATM switch fabric with bifurcated queuing is proposed. Under current state-of-art, it can substantially decrease the speed of both memory and bus of ATM switching system while still maintain delay performance of basic output queuing, multicast function and be cost-effective.
