Virtual Assembly Context Granular Model and Awareness Algorithm Based on Quotient Theory

Abstract:

Current virtual assembly technology has been gradually improved in either hardware system construction or software platform researching. Study in human-computer interaction using virtual assembly technology would be a necessary means to level-up the practicability of virtual assembly. The paper proposes an assembly-context granular model pertinent to the conception of assembly context, and presents a granular perception algorithm of assembly context based on quotient theory and similarity theory. It also shows in the paper that this algorithm is practical through an instance analysis of shafting assembly.
