A method of calculating the matrix in linear multiuser signal detector is presented , and the performance of the detector which uses the above-mentioned method of generating the matrix is analysed. Numerical results show that 1) under ideal power control, in aspect of bit-error rate, the optimum linear multiuser signal detector is better than the conventional and decorrelated multiuser signal detectors; 2) in aspect of “near-far” resistance, the optimum linear multiuser signal detector is better than the conventional one, and is worse than the decorrelated detector.
