- It is proved that the linear complexity of the production sequence of two LFSR sequences is less than or equal to the production of the linear complexities of the two LFSR sequences.Especially, if these two LFSR sequences are m-sequences, and if their minimal polynomials are mutually prime, then the linear complexity of the production sequence of the two LFSR sequences equals the production of the two linear complexities.

- A new encode/decode scheme of OCDMA—films encode/decoder is proposed. The principle of films encode/decoder is analyzed. The system structure of films encode/decoder is given. It can also be seen that all-optical CDMA encode/decode can be realized by the proposed system of films encode/decoder.At the same time, the OCDMA encode/decoder can be integrated easily.It can also made the access be controlled easily.

- A novel neural network method is used to build an efficient network traffic controller.It is that we use ant algorithm in neural network weights training for ATM traffic control.The simulation results show that this approach is efficient and feasible.

- In the process of the convergence of IN and VoIP, soft SSF must be implemented in IP network in order to provide intelligent services for their users. However, the interface between soft SSF and soft switch hasn't been defined as an international standard. So an idea is brought about the interface definition and a CORBA-based distributed architeture of future IN concept is conceived. Finally, principle and simple implementation is described.

- Analyzes the performance of unipolar OCDMA system using optical orthogonal code (OOC) considering the dispersion and nonlinearity effect of the transmission medium. Theoretical analysis demonstrates that dispersion and nonlinearity effect deteriorate the system performance. The performance of OCDMA system assuming dispersion-shifted fiber as transmission medium is very close to the case neglecting the dispersion and nonlinearity effect. Assuming RZ initial pulse and optical hard limiter are also possible solutions.

- After presenting the functions of the wavelength converters in all-optical network,the network blocking probabilities are analysed.An algorithm for allocting wavelength converters in all-optical network is proposed and simulated.Simulation results show that the performance of the algorithm is close to that of the optimal ones in terms of blocking probabilites.However the time complexity of the algorithm is only O(3H+w²／2).

- A blind multiuser detection algorithm based on nonlinear least squares method is proposed.It is proved that as the number of the sampled data vectors is large, the performance of this algorithm tends to the performance of MOE.Simulations indicate that the performance of this algorithm is better than that of CMOE, and can be used in variable enviorment.

- Unlike the ordinary standard on serial communication of PC,the control port(DSR)of RS-232-C is used to receive serial digital signals directly.In this way the PC is able to receive the information in Chinese from the pager.This simple and reliable method can be applied to the development of real time monitor systems for pager signals,as well as the reception and research of serial digital signals of unknown format.

- By comparing the channel capacities hetwem orthogonal space-time block coding and multi-antenna array system over Rayleigh fading channel, some capacity loss for orthogonal space-time block coding is obtained, which is a function of the code rate, the rank of channel matrix and the number of transmitter and receive antennas, although the system of orthogonal space-time block codes is simple and easy to implemented.If is also shown that there is no capacity loss only if both the code rate and the channel matrix rank are all one.
