Fast Path SetupOriented Resource PreConfiguration Strategy in  MultiGranularity Optical Networks

Abstract:

To meet the requirements of multigranularity optical networks for capability of switching at different granularities, a resource preconfiguration strategy is introduced into multigranularity optical networks. By preconfiguring the resource of multigranularity optical networks, the topology can be reconstructed with the number of direct routes increasing. The performance of routing and forwarding can be optimized. Numerical simulations show the connection establishing time of control plane could be significantly reduced by using resource preconfiguration strategy.
