Supply Chain Lead Time Modeling and Analysis Based on Generalized Stochastic Petri Nets

Abstract:

Lead time is an elementary factor in supply chain management, which has become a focus of recent research. Petri net is a quite good modeling technique for complex logistics systems, which is characterized by visual tools and strict math basis. This paper gives defination of the Generalized Stochastic Petri Net, and apply GSPN method to caculate the supply chian lead time and to analyze the perfomances of different activities derived fom the purchase process.
