Abstract

Abstract: A new beam-forming method for switched beam smart antenna application in a CDMA system is proposed.The working principle and blocking characteristic of a new smart sector system based on it are also studied.Simulations show that our beam-forming method outperforms two traditional ones.The proposed smart sector system can obviously improve the trunking efficiency,especially when users' DOA follows nonuniform distribution.
