Abstract: A fuzzy-based automatic boundary detection algorithm for cardiac left ventricular (LV) of nuclear medical images is described.The proposed method is a fuzzy-base approach in which the images are enhanced with fuzzy algorithm according to the gray distribution of gated cardiac images of nuclear medicine.Then the boundary of LV are detected automatically by using the enhanced images.The algorithm is effective even if the left ventricular and right ventricular of the gated cardiac images are not apart from each other very well.
