Abstract: The Fast Infoset, a new information interactive format, currently was developedby ISO(International Organization for Standardization)/IEC(International Electrotechnical Commission). This paper analyzes the generic advantages of Fast Infosetdocuments, and provides an interactive information framework for the Fast Infoset-based NMS( network management system ) which is faster to serialize and parse, more efficiently to process and needs less redundancy information. At last,a prototype has been implemented, respectively based on Fast Infoset and XML(extensible markup language) ideas, to test the processing performance of the NMS, and the comparison is presented.
