Abstract:

A video decoding dependency erasure code is proposed to reduce receivers video delay in wireless video broadcast. According to packet receiving status of broadcast receivers, the proposed coding scheme first considers video packets decoding dependency, and then constructs coded packets on the fly to reduce receivers video delay. Simulation shows that the proposed code has lower video delay than the existing erasure codes.
